Originally a native of Miami, FL, Alina Prior has proudly called Jacksonville home since 2001, and has lived in downtown Jacksonville’s Cathedral District since 2007. She lives with her husband and her young son who has attended the Cathedral School since infancy. They reside in The Parks at the Cathedral Townhomes where they are active within the neighborhood community.

Alina Prior has worked at One Call, a workers’ compensation healthcare services leader, in various roles for over ten years. She is currently a senior manager in operations, leading multiple departments and processes. A certified Lean Six-Sigma Greenbelt, Alina is a collaborative leader who has worked to optimize work flows and find solutions to operational challenges. Alina holds a bachelor’s degree in Studio Art with a concentration in graphic design from Florida State University.

She is also passionate about building strong communities and has worked with local nonprofit organizations, including the CDJ Host and Membership Committees. She has served as a mentor in the Big Brother Big Sister program, and volunteers with the American Red Cross. Alina enjoys jogging along the Riverwalk and attending Art Walks with her family. The Priors are also long-time Jaguars season ticket holders, and they enjoy the short walks or bicycle rides to the many events available downtown.
