The 2022 Christmas in the Cathedral District is a ticketed event with a street market that takes place on Saturday, December 3, 2022, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.  The entire block between Market Street and Newnan on Church Street will be closed off for the event.  Tickets are $15 for an individual and $50 for a family (2 adults and up to 3 children). The family package also includes 2 free drink tickets for the adults.

Inside the market area you will find over 20 vendors all under one tent.  Also, inside the market area you will find food trucks, a beer garden (with beer from our own Ruby Beach Brewing), a kids’ play area with a petting zoo and bounce houses, and of course the Cathedral Bookstore will be open.

During the event the First United Methodist Church will host a special holiday light show sponsored by the Department of State, Division of Arts and Culture, the Florida Council on Arts and Culture and the National Endowment of the Arts.  The lights will be set to move with holiday music and a live wind ensemble as well.

We encourage you to visit different public art pieces during the event including the debut of a brand-new public art piece in the form of an intersection mural at the corner of East Monroe Street and North Market Street behind the Morocco Temple.

And as tradition Christmas in the Cathedral District will also host the opening of every Historic Church in the district for tours and decorated for the holidays and filled with music. Go Tukin’ will be providing free transportation to those traveling between the churches.
