John “Jay” Henderlite

John M. “Jay” Henderlite, III, is a Florida Bar Board Certified Marital and Family Law attorney and a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Law Mediator.  He is a Cathedral District stakeholder, operating his law practice from a 1905 Victorian revival residence located at 218 East Ashley Street.

In addition to his law practice, Jay is a member of the Rotary Club of West Jacksonville, on the executive committee of the Family Nurturing Center of Florida board of directors, on the executive committee of the Florida Family Law Inn of Court, chair of the Family Law Committee of the Jacksonville Bar Association, recently completed his term on the Board of Directors of The Cathedral School, and is an active member of St. Johns Cathedral..

Between work and church, Jay spends at least six days a week in the District.  His law firm also brings community members from all over Northeast Florida into the neighborhood each week.  He is committed to CDJ’s mission and is excited to be considered for Board membership.
