Join us on this exciting and educational journey through the captivating history of downtown Jacksonville’s Cathedral District. We will step back in time and explore the hidden gems and untold stories that have shaped our community into what it is today. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable footwear, as the tour spans a length of 2.5 miles. Light refreshments will be provided at the end of the tour.

CDJ will be joined by Mike Field, a banking analyst and real estate developer who was named the State of Florida’s Small Business Advocate of the Year in 2015. Along with Ennis Davis and Bill Delaney, Mike co-founded Modern Cities and The Jaxson, two popular multimedia projects that adopt a hyperlocal focus to explore the big issues facing Jacksonville in today’s modern era of urban development. Mike is an expert on what’s currently under development downtown. This immersive, in-person event is the next installment of Community Dialogues, our FREE event series which brings together great minds to discuss the most pressing issues affecting our beloved downtown Jacksonville.
